Menopause Evening

Hosted by Stort Valley & Villages PCN. The chair & a member joined the 4 weekly workshops, where we discussed the importance of exercise and helpers during the menopause, finishing off the evening with an easy relaxation technique

Festive Loneliness Grant from East Herts Council

2 morning workshops run for the community during the festive holidays. One being an arts & crafts session and the other exercise for the body & the brain

HAPpy Christmas Camps

During Christmas we acquired funding from Herts Sports Partnership & Holiday Activity Programme to run 2 days of children’s enrichment days with a hot meal for children in Buntingford. Each day consisted of physical activity, an enrichment arts & crafts project & nutrition teaching session. HILS were engaged to provide hot meals for the sessions

Herts Sports Partnership Culturally Diverse Project

A beginner’s course for a diverse residents of both Bishop’s Stortford & Buntingford

Each week they tried out different class formats, and were then signposted to classes local to them. Pilates, Dance, Circuits, Strength Training, Toning Classes and others during the 8 weeks course in both locations

East Herts Council Housing & Health Projects Small Grant

A small grant to start up a Dance Fit Class for the residents of Bishop’s Stortford covering hall hire and promotion to get the class up and running. Now an established class running each week with over 10 participants weekly

Magic Little Stars Grant via People’s Postcode Lottery

Wellbeing workshops covering all things exercise & mental wellbeing for 8 weeks in Bishop’s Stortford ran between December 2022 to February 2023

Move, Meditate & Relaxation funded from Buntingford Town Council Small Grant

Move, Meditate & Relaxation workshop was attended by over 18 delegates who learnt 2 breathing techniques and a quick guide to Meditation in January 2023
